Welcome to AV Flow Chart, a free online application built specifically for the audiovisual industry.
Whether you’re designing a conference room, planning a live event, documenting a rack build, creating a signal flow, or mapping an entire AV network, AV Flow Chart is designed to make the process faster, cleaner, and more intuitive.
Unlike general-purpose diagramming software, AV Flow Chart was created with AV professionals in mind. Every icon, connector, and workflow is inspired by real-world projects and the way technicians, engineers, integrators, and designers actually work.
Why I Built This
After spending more than 28 years working in live production, touring, corporate events, audiovisual integration, and system design, I found myself repeatedly creating diagrams to explain complex systems to clients, installers, programmers, and production teams.
While there are many excellent diagramming tools available, very few are built specifically for our industry.
I wanted something that understood how AV professionals think.
So I decided to build it.
AV Flow Chart is my attempt to create a tool that makes documenting AV systems easier while reducing the amount of time spent creating diagrams from scratch.
Whether you’re an experienced system designer or a student learning signal flow, I hope this application becomes part of your workflow.
A Work in Progress
AV Flow Chart is still under active development.
New icons, equipment categories, templates, features, and workflow improvements are being added regularly. There are plenty of ideas still on the roadmap, and I’m excited to continue expanding the app based on feedback from the AV community.

About the Creator
My name is Eric Munoz, founder of Sonicwerks.
For nearly three decades, I’ve had the opportunity to work with corporate clients, touring artists, production companies, houses of worship, and AV integrators across the United States. Throughout my career, I’ve served in roles ranging from audio engineer and production manager to AV consultant, systems designer, and technical director.
AV Flow Chart combines many of the lessons I’ve learned over the years into a tool that I hope will save time, simplify communication, and help others bring their ideas to life.
